This past weekend, I had the absolute honor of attending JordanCon in Atlanta, GA as a fantasy author, sitting on panels and running a table in Author’s Alley. And wow, what an unforgettable experience!
This was actually my very first time attending JordanCon! I first heard about it through some amazing fellow authors in the Georgia writing community, who couldn’t stop raving about how welcoming and inspiring the event was. After experiencing it firsthand, I can confidently say they were absolutely right.

JordanCon has a reputation for being a warm, vibrant gathering of storytellers and fans, and this year was no exception. From the moment I walked in, it felt like coming home. I had the chance to sit on panels with some of the most brilliant, hilarious, and inspiring minds in the genre. We dove into everything from crafting immersive worlds to surviving the ups and downs of being an indie author. Every conversation left me more energized and motivated to keep creating.

Author’s Alley was another huge highlight. It is always such a gift to meet my readers and followers face-to-face, talk about our favorite fantasy worlds, and share a few laughs. I also met so many aspiring writers, each one absolutely brimming with passion and creativity. Hyping them up, encouraging their journeys, and seeing their excitement reminded me exactly why I love this community so much.
Of course, an event like JordanCon doesn’t run on magic alone (even if it feels like it sometimes). I have to give a massive shoutout to the volunteers who made the entire weekend possible. From start to finish, they kept everything running smoothly, handled logistics like pros, and made sure we were all safe, comfortable, and fed! No small task with so many attendees bustling around.

Speaking of food, I cannot praise the JordanCon ConSuite enough. The team behind it absolutely knocked it out of the park this year. They provided snacks, drinks, and full meals all weekend long, making sure that nobody had to face a panel, a long day of signing books, or a packed schedule on an empty stomach. As an author juggling panels, table hours, and social time, having that constant source of nourishment was an absolute lifesaver. Thank you, ConSuite heroes! You kept us going strong!
Leaving JordanCon this year, I was filled with so much gratitude! For the readers, the writers, the volunteers, the organizers, and every single person who came together to celebrate the magic of fantasy storytelling. I headed home inspired, recharged, and more excited than ever to keep writing.
Until next time, JordanCon! 🖤✨
