A Milestone Weekend for This Indie Author at Infinity Con

ree

Wow. Just… wow. InfinityCon Tallahassee 2025 will forever be a core memory for me as an indie author and artist. From the moment I set up my booth to the final rush of Sunday sales, this weekend completely blew away every expectation I had. Not only was it my most successful convention ever in terms of sales (seriously, new record numbers), but the energy, the people, and the sheer love for storytelling and fantasy made it one of the most rewarding events I’ve ever attended.

You all showed up! Some were longtime followers, some were first-time browsers curious about my bookish bugs or fantasy wares, and some just wanted to say hi and chat about magic, dice, and worldbuilding. I had conversations that reminded me why I do this. Why I stay up late writing. Why I give up my weekends to stand behind a booth with aching feet and a huge smile on my face.

The highlight? Selling out of Mercy's Light only halfway through Day 2. I was stunned. People came back asking if I had more, and while I couldn’t magically summon more copies, I could offer blind dates, enchanted items, and some heartfelt thanks for the overwhelming support.

The love was so strong that I didn’t even wait to come down from the convention high. I’ve already signed up to return for InfinityCon Tallahassee 2026. Thank you to everyone who stopped by my booth, grabbed a book, snagged a bug, shared their stories, or just made me laugh. This indie journey can feel lonely sometimes, but weekends like this remind me it’s also filled with incredible magic.

A huge thank you to the InfinityCon staff and volunteers who helped make the experience so smooth and exciting. Every single person I interacted with was kind, organized, and full of the exact kind of con-energy that keeps creators like me motivated through long hours. Y’all were incredible and it showed in how well the whole weekend ran. See you next year, Tallahassee!
